Age: 6

Location: Calgary, AB

Personality: He is medium energy level and enjoys a few small or one big walk a day. Can pull on leash when too close to another dog or when he sees a scary neighborhood bunny. Super gentle and never jumps up even when excited. Will flop his whole body on your belly up for some tummy scratches 

Likes: Playing fetch and any kind of ball, he is great at not jumping or barking and loves to chase balls, loves peanut butter and carrots, yes that's right give him a big Carrot to crunch, also loves alllll the pets and wants to be near you at all times. Classic velcro dobie. 

Dislikes: Being left alone for long periods and can be midly frustrated on leash when seeing other dogs as he wants to play

Ideal Home: Preferably someone who works from home and not gone long periods of time as he can be anxious when away from family. 

‍‍‍ Family: loves all people including kids, has a prey drive so best with larger dogs only in home and no cats

Health: no medical concerns. He was originally seized for neglect and was emaciated when rescued, but is now at a healthy weight.

Rusty has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. All adopters must agree not to use any punitive training methods including, but not limited to, leash corrections; pinning; alpha rolls, etc.
