My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gigi is a gentle, snuggly, long eared friend, with the most luxurious dewlap, waiting to find her forever family!

At first Gigi was really scared in foster care, hiding in her tunnel backed up as far as possible - the bunny equivalent of a 'do not disturb sign' - and letting out occasional grunts in case there was any doubt.

After two weeks Gigi's trust has grown so much; she now presents for pets, and once she starts getting them she immediately settles into her dewlap and starts to tooth purr.  She's even binkying a little bit. After picking her up, she settles into the crook of our arms, burying to safety. She will then relax her body after petting for a long time - a trust exercise. When she goes back to her safe condo space, she doesn’t leave right away - she turns around for a cookie!

She continues to makes progress daily - but she would much rather make progress with her forever family!

If you are willing to provide Gigi a safe quiet place to settle into, she will reward you with a wonderful friendship.

Apply and take a chance on this beautiful soul!
