Dasani is going to be a true ray of sunshine in your life if you welcome her home! An educated guess tells us that this shepherd/doberman mix is around 2 years old but personality-wise: she's a puppy, and always will be. Dasani was found as a stray which is so ridiculous, seeing as she never wants to leave your side and never met anyone she didn't immediately consider her best friend. Someone also taught Dasani excellent manners in her young life! She's great on a leash, she sits and lays down as soon when asked, and she's very gentle with taking whatever you offer her. Even when she's zooming full-speed in our exercise yard, she comes to a complete stop if you call out to her and she never crashes into you, though she's so goofy that she may crash into a wall! Dasani loves to run, play, and have a blast! She's good with other dogs too. She hopes you'll be in to offer her the home of her dreams soon! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org to meet her. File#75993 9/23/24

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
