Lulu and Ginger are both sweet older ladies who need a forever home -- somewhere that they can spend their remaining years in the arms of someone who loves them. They would also love a nice window to look out of, some comfy beds, and maybe a cat tree to climb up on. And, of course, you!
Lulu and Ginger are up to date on their vaccines and vet services, are healthy and ready to live their best lives! They are friendly, gentle, very calm, sweet, social and are not on any medications. They both ADORE food, playing with toys sometimes, sleeping in cozy nooks and enjoy watching the wildlife through the windows.
If you are a senior citizen yourself, you can take advantage of our Seniors for Seniors Adoption Discount ~~ no adoption fee and 20% off all future vet services, medications, food, if purchased from our clinic. Our goal is to find good homes for all of the sick and injured pets we have, and to adopt them out in the best health possible. Each pet is fully vetted and cared for by our amazing Veterinary Staff! Our adoption fee is $130, which includes a spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccines, and a microchip. We offer a two week trial period, during which time you may return the pet for a full refund if the placement does not work out. We will accept a pet back after two weeks, but no refund will be issued. If a pet is returned after a longer time period we may require a $130 relinquishment fee. We do not perform home visits or have any particular adoption requirements, such as fenced yard. We do, however, reserve the right to turn down potential adopters if we feel like it will not be in the best interest of the pet.

Our Stray Program began in 1988, with one dog named Redman. He was rescued by a client who indicated that he had belonged to a homeless man. The man had since disappeared, and the red Chow was ill and now living on his own. We brought him to our Clinic and named him Redman. He tested heartworm positive, was treated for that condition and was also neutered. One of our Veterinarians fell in love and adopted him. Unfortunately, Redman did not live long due to heartworm disease, but enjoyed several great years with his new owner. It was because of Redman that our Stray Program for sick and injured animals came to fruition. We began a fund to support the Program and, since then, have found many sick and injured pets their forever homes! Thanks to Dr. Joe Gaston, we are able to continue our work to help sick and injured strays, and have the opportunity to give back to our pet community!
