Hey there, future best friend! I'm Scout, a 2-year-old pit bull and Blue Tick coonhound mix, and I’ve got something pretty special going on—one blue eye, one brown eye! Yep, I’m unique inside and out, and I’m looking for someone who’s ready to be my forever human. Could that be you?

I’m all about the fun stuff—playing fetch with my ball, chewing on bones, and showing off my smarts with tricks like “sit” and “give paw.” But when the day winds down, I’m just as happy snuggling up for belly rubs and being your cuddle buddy. I’ve got a big heart, and I’m ready to give all my love to one special person or family.

I’m best as the only dog in the house, so I can be the center of your attention (and trust me, I’ll give you all the attention right back!). My paws and skin are a little sensitive, but I’m on meds that keep me feeling great, and I’m working hard on my leash skills too—just need a little more practice!

Right now, I’m searching for a foster or forever home, and I need your help. My friends at Angel Dog Alliance are raising $1,000 for my boarding and training to make sure I’m ready to be the best dog I can be when I find my perfect family.
