Handsome Rocky is a 1-year-old purebred German Shepherd Dog. He is crate & house-trained and knows the commands sit, lie down & come. Rocky loves his walks & playing ball. His no 1 goal in life is to be with his people, cuddling, playing & watching over them. Rocky gets along wonderfully with the female dogs in his foster home. We have not exposed him to cats or small children.

Our adoption fee covers an initial comprehensive veterinary examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test, (for dogs > 12 months), parasite screening with treatment if needed, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm preventative medication, (for dogs > 3 months) plus any other medication or treatment needed up until the day they are adopted.

When times get tough, we support members of our community so they can keep their pets. This includes heartworm preventative medication, vaccinations, annual examinations, and food. Our goal is to reduce the number of owner surrenders at local shelters.
We're committed to spay and neuter through education and facilitation. We work with veterinarians to provide low cost spay and neuter surgery options. We recognize that low cost may still be too expensive and provide sponsorship on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you need assistance
