My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Riley

Riley is a 12 year old Schnauzer mix. He is about 38lbs but should be closer to 32lbs. He is on a doggy diet. Riley is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. He recently had a cyst removed on his neck requiring 24 staples and an eye growth removed. He is recovering very well from the double surgery.

Riley is such a special and kind boy. All he wants to do is be with his person or people. He rarely barks, loves to go for walks and car rides, plays fetch and naps. Riley does well with other dogs and cats. He has not been exposed to livestock.

Riley came to us in pretty rough shape as his owner passed away. Through his journey to getting healthy he has lost 4lbs, been put on some longer term medications, and a hydrolyzed protein diet. His body does have some lumps but the ones not removed the vet did not think needed to be at this time.

Riley is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He will greet you every day with the biggest smile and his racoon eyes. He wants to sleep with you in bed and always be your best friend. His tenderness will melt you.
