Who is this handsome guy you ask?
He would greet you with his happy tappy toes and say, “Hi, I’m Birch!”.. if he could
This fun-loving, silly and sweet bully mix is approximately 6 years young and a strong 65lbs. He arrived to a shelter one year ago as a limping stray with some scars on his body. Exact age and breed is unknown, but he has a lot of youthful energy and is happy as can be. His shining self will no longer be overlooked!
He could do well in most homes - with a dedicated owner that would be committed to continue his potty training and some basic good-boy manners. Birch does well in his foster home with other dogs; but he could easily be ‘too much’ for a smaller or more passive dog, as he loves to play hard! Kids and cats not tested. Crate training for meals, short naps and overnights has been successful. This boy is food motivated and loves to earn some treatos by giving a ‘sit’, ‘shake’ and ‘down’.
Birch is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and is signed up to start basic obedience training with his foster soon. Please reach out with your interest for Birch or fill out a ‘statement of interest’ at https://alternativehumanesociety.com
