Meet Butters! This sweet girl is as affectionate as they come. She loves nothing more than curling up on the bed for a cozy night’s sleep right next to you. Butters is a playful companion who adores other cats and will happily join in on a play session—just make sure to use toys, as this spunky little lady might “give you a whatta for" if you’re not careful! She's a pro at tempting you to use your hands during play by pouncing on them, so staying toy-focused is key. With her quiet, shaky little meow, Butters may not be the loudest kitty in the house, but she’ll definitely steal your heart. If you're looking for a playful, loving, and slightly spicy companion, Butters is the purrfect fit!

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
