My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile:  Aksel is a sweet 2 year old male that needed to get out of the shelter in San Bernardino. This poor boy didn't even fight back after repeatedly being attacked by another dog inside his kennel, and he sustained several injuries. Luckily he has recovered from his ordeal, and we couldn't resist jailbreaking this beautiful boy.

Foster Update: Aksel is such a sweetheart of a dog. Social. Active. Playful. He loves being with his people and is eager to learn. He adapts quickly to new situations and house rules. He’s gentle with our kids (1 yo & 4 yo) and picks up on social cues from our grumpy resident dog. We’re working on leash training and it’s going great! He would be a great solo or with a companion!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health  certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.

Animal History: This dog was rescued by our partners Angels of Rawley. Arriving  to Seattle area foster care on 09/15/24. He will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.
