Stardust was abandoned and rescued from a park in Orange County. She was an easy rescue for a cat rescuer.
We've cleaned up her matted fur from her bottom and she's as good as new. She was likely living in a small, untidy, unacceptable cage..
Her spay is slated for October 2024. She is vaccinated against RHDV2.
She's a dutch/Lionhead mix. A cuddle buddy for the couch for sure. Easy to pick up. Enjoys head pets and nose nuzzles. What a perfect little princess!
Stardust should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.
Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.
Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.
Stardust can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.
PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.

Kribs for Kritters primary focus is rescuing domestic rabbits that have been abandoned at parks, schools, golf courses, fitness trails and any other outdoor location. Kribs for Kritters also assists Golden View Farm Rabbit Rescue in their heroic efforts.

We are both a rescue and a shelter. We have over 100 rabbits in our care. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask. It is likely we have a bunny to suit your needs. New bunnies are being rescued every week. We don’t always have time/resources to post every bunny that crosses our path.
We have an exceptionally high success rate of bunny bonding on the very first date. So, if you’re looking for a mate for your existing bunny, give us a try.
Our operating costs are at least $1,000 per month so donations are always appreciated. Donations can be made to PayPal.me/kribsforkritters.
