My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Bingley

This sweet gentleman came to us as a stray so we don't know a ton about his history. Although he can initially be quite anxious in new environments, but with love and patience his affectionate nature shines through. He would likely thrive in a quiet home where he is able to gain his confidence at his own pace. If you're looking for a shy but gentle boy please consider Mr. Bingley!

Due to a few mild urinary concerns, Mr. Bingley is on a prescription diet to help him stay happy and healthy. Future adopters will need to be prepared to continue his prescribed food and follow up with their veterinarian to help continue to manage his urinary health.

Are you ready to give Mr. Bingley a home where he can feel safe and gain his confidence? If you're interested in Mr. Bingley please fill out an application which can be found at the link below.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
