My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mother Goose, the sweetest little girl! 🌼

Watch Mother Goose here: https://youtu.be/5OhnNBtsuAQ?si=akWzQgtFITRLHoj7

We think she’s a delightful mix of American Pit Bull Terrier and Pointer, but since she’s a rescue, her exact age and breed are a mystery wrapped in a snuggle! We guess she’s around 3 years old and weighs a cozy 48 pounds.

She might be a bit shy when you first say hello, but give her a few strolls, and you’ll be BFFs for life! Her tail wags like crazy, and she lights up with a big, happy smile every time she sees you. This playful pup loves to romp around, bringing a burst of energy to your day, all while keeping that gentle, mellow vibe that makes her so endearing. She’s the perfect mix of sweet and spunky, ready to fill your heart with love and laughter!

Mother Goose is currently fostered in Texas in a family with 2 teenagers, 4 dogs and a cat! She is thriving in a foster home with multiple big and tiny dogs and CATS! She gets along fabulously with all of them, and we can confidently say that she’s cat friendly. Her foster mom reports that she’s an excellent office dog, and enjoys quietly laying in her office while she works. Her foster family takes her on little adventures to the park, Home Depot, and more- she does well in the car and behaves well in public! She loves to hang out outdoors, and does exceptionally well on walks.

Mother Goose absolutely adores toys, treats, and those oh-so-special pets from her favorite humans. She takes them so gently from your hand!

This sweet girl is all about playtime and having fun with other dogs! She absolutely loves hanging out with other dogs and gets excited when it’s time to play. If you’re thinking about bringing her home, just know she really thrives in a household with at least one other dog to keep her company. She’s ready to join in on all the tail-wagging adventures and make some awesome memories with her new pals!

Once Mother Goose bonds she is ever so loyal. She has amazing recall with her foster parents and always wants to be right by their side. We think she would be find living in an apartment, home or condo.

With her mellow presence, she’ll remind you of the little joys in life—a warm cuddle, a wagging tail, and the unconditional love that only a dog can give. 🐾❤️

Mother Goose is fostered In Texas and ready for a virtual meet and greet!

Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport.
