INDOOR ONLY HOMES, PLEASE

Axel was rescued right under our founders' house! Hmm, did he get dumped or did he simply find his way on his own? We will never know.

He neuter is October 7, 2024. He is vaccinated against RHDV2.

OMG, is he just the perfect bunny! Axel is the type of friendly, gentle bunny most adopters are looking for. He enjoys nose rubs. He is calm and still in your lap. What a wonderful bun. Such a sweetheart.

Axel should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Axel can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
