My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! I'm Hercules a Doberman Mix. My siblings and I came into the shelter setting fairly young alongside our mom. Within a few weeks I got adopted out, however, I was brought back due to housing issues. I have only been back a few weeks now, but I sit in my kennel waiting for that fur ever home. I love to show off my zoomies to people. I also very much enjoy things that squeak! I am still at a great age to get some training in, in the case that my person might feel that I need some training.

If you are my furever home, come visit me at Valley Animal Center's dog adoption center.

To get a head start on the adoption process, you can also fill out an application, the pre- adoption application! After you fill it out, a dog care associate will contact you shortly. The form is found here: https://valleyanimal.org/dog-adoption-application/

More about this shelter

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.

We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.

Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
