Bella

Husky

DOB: 02/15/2022

Bella was well-known in her neighborhood. Her owner didn’t really care about her and often let her run for days/weeks at a time. Thanks to a wonderful group of people Bella was surrendered to our rescue. By the time the owner surrendered her, Bella was malnourished, pregnant, and had a blockage. After surgery and recovery at the rescue, Bella was sent to our prison program called FIDOS SCI Coal Township.

Despite all she has been through Bella is an amazing dog. She is extremely affectionate and loving. She loves kids and other dogs her size or bigger. She does not do well with smaller dogs or cats. Bella is a typical husky in that she is an escape artist but not like a typical husky in other ways. For instance, Bella is a very mellow, chill dog. Bella reads her person very well and when her person is sad or having a rough day she will do her best to comfort her person and be there for them.

Bella is house-trained and does well in a crate.
