For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Meet me at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, October 5th at Woodlands Pet Food & Treats from 12-3pm (unless adopted before 3pm). An onsite sign-in sheet will open one hour before the event.
Meet Gidget (Poppy)! This teeny little chi-terrier mix is itsy bitsy but has a big heart and personality!
Poppy does NOT like being alone and will be much happier if there is another dog in the household, and if there are humans around. Poppy will not do well left alone for extended periods of time. She'd be happiest in a multi-dog household with humans who spend a lot of time with their pets.
As Poppy weighs just a few pounds, she should not be left outside or be unleashed when out and about, as she's small enough to be prey for a coyote or even a large bird. She is very small so cannot be in a home with children under the age of 8.
Poppy is working on her housetraining and goes to the bathroom both on potty pads and outside. She loves to sleep cuddled up next to her human, she does not like to sleep alone.
Poppy loves to play, sit in laps and cuddle. She's fearless and fun and will make a great addition to a home that has multiple dogs already. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 6.5 Age: 0yrs 0mths 12wks
