Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rocky is about a year old and full of energy! He loves to play fetch, go on walks, and interact with other dogs. As long as he gets playtime in the morning and in the evening he is very calm/ sleepy most of the day. Rocky is affectionate and friendly with people, but does get skiddish at times (mostly when scared). He's about 60 lbs, so he's a big boy and is still learning boundaries when it comes to jumping when he's excited. I wouldn't recommend him to be in a home with small children until he's been adequately trained not to jump and playfully bite. Overall, Rocky is a big friendly guy that loves to play and would make a great addition to a home with an active owner.
Rocky is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
