Jaco is a jack of all kinds of fun! This sweet giant is eager to make friends and play with you. Jaco has been through a board and train program and knows all of his basic commands in addition to being well-mannered.

Jaco was found wandering at a Jack in the Box on a rural highway in Central California. After surviving that ordeal, he lingered at a high-kill shelter for too long and was almost euthanized. A generous sponsor was able to place Jaco with a trainer for three months to give him more time to find a foster, and while he was waiting for a foster he learned all the cool stuff!
Jaco has done great in training and play groups with other dogs. He also has done well with horses and pigs. He does not have much experience with cats, however we suspect this gentle giant would be fine with them with some training.
Jaco is a XL breed puppy who would do best in a home experienced with XL dogs. He has done great in training, but continued leash work is needed. Jaco knows sit, down, time for bed, and NO among other cues. He is a big lovebug who is eager to please and learn new tricks. He loves kongs, rope toys, and tennis balls most of all for toys.
Jaco is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. If you would like to meet Jaco to see if he is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application
