Meet Dexter, he’s an absolute doll! Dexter is a mild mannered cuddle bug who can’t wait to curl up in the couch with you. Dexter adores everyone he meets, he’s outgoing, friendly and loving. This boy has nothing but love to share with you. He gets along great with other dogs and would love to have a doggie friend to spend his days with. He has been wonderful with children with his laid back personality he would do great in a horne with children. Dexter is housebroken, leash and crate trained- he’s just about perfect, all he is missing is a family to love and spoil him.

Dexter is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Vet references and personal references verified, verify home ownership or rental and ability to adopt

Virtual or in person

Approve Application

Send out approval with information on canine, need to electronically sign. Adoption agreement. Review all aspects of the adoption agreeement

Pay Fee

Adoption donation accepted, welcome letter emailed with educational information to welcome your new dog home. Transport arranged

6.
Take the Pet Home

Adopters receive all vetting documentation and a welcome home goodie bag for new fur friend

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
