Summit might've been sad, but it didn't stop his playful side from showing. After a few minutes of owner searching, Summit let us tempt him with toys. He loves to play and will chase anything we throw. Summit is easily distracted too. That is a great skill for shelter sadness. There is a ton of activity to keep his attention busy. We think Summit is worthy of a loving family. One that won't give him up even if times get tough.

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
