Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You’ve seen her flaunting her stardom all over our story this past week, but now it’s time for us to officially introduce you to the ever adoptable, wonderfully talented - Miss Dolly Parton!
Poor Dolly was found as a stray underweight, heartworm positive, and heartbreakingly, she was lactating. We can only guess at what her past was like, but true to her name Dolly Parton is a tough broad and she isn’t letting a thing bring her down!
Dolly is a new designer breed of dog - the teacup houndie! Fully grown at a whopping 32lbs she looks like a “regular” full grown hound who got hit by a shrink ray! She is crated trained, loves people and is mostly potty trained.
Dolly is very adaptable. Happy to relax and spend lots of time bouncing from cozy couch spot to cozy couch spot, but equally as happy to use her houndy snoot to smell all the smells - and boy does she LOVE to use her nose. She will come up from a good sniff with a nose full of dirt. Squirrels might also be her arch enemy, but she has discovered tortoises are spooky
Dolly loves her toys, the softer the better, and she will carry them around and make a nest of them for a good cuddle session. While Dolly is generally happy to hang out and just vibe she is also a HUGE fan of other dogs. She will match the energy of her play mate easily and is PUMPED for all the zooming, wrestling or tug of war she can get into.
Miss Dolly Parton is in the process of going through heartworm treatment, but we would love to get her into her forever home in the meantime. Dolly is only in a foster home for a couple more days and then she will be back in boarding, so if you aren’t ready to adopt but want to get a little extra sparkle in your life reach out to foster a true icon.
