My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddie
Domestic Shorthair, Born in June 2024, Black, Spayed female

Teddie needs to be adopted into a home with another playful cat.

Hi there! I’m Teddie, an energetic and friendly kitten who’s always ready to play and explore! I’m super outgoing and love meeting new people, whether it’s kids, cats, or maybe even dogs. I enjoy being picked up, sitting on laps, and getting lots of pets and brushing—basically, I’m down for whatever you want!

My favorite thing to do? Honestly, I love playing with anything and everything! I'm from a litter of seven so I'm used to feline playmates. But when my humans or siblings are not available to join in, no worries—I’ll keep myself entertained. I also enjoy lounging by the window, soaking in the sunshine after a long play session. I’m known for being a bit of a goofball with the best facial expressions, and I love showing off my curious side by exploring new spots.

I’ve got great litter box manners, and I’m all about scratching posts—whether they’re cardboard, sisal rope, carpet, horizontal, or vertical. Plus, I’m super soft and fluffy, making me the perfect cuddle buddy when I’m ready to relax.

Honestly, there’s nothing I don’t like. I’m an easygoing kitten who’s always up for fun or some snuggles. If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion who can bring laughter and joy to your life, I’m your girl!

Let’s meet soon!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
