My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carrie
Domestic Shorthair, Born in September 2023, Light Brown Tabby, Spayed female

Introducing Carrie: The Sweetheart with a Playful Spirit!

Hey there! I’m Carrie, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home! I might have been abandoned in an apartment with my fellow furballs when my previous human moved out, but I’m ready to turn the page and start a new chapter filled with love, adventure and purrs.

I’m a sweet little soul, though I can be a tad shy at first. Once I warm up, you’ll discover my playful side! I love to chat with my humans—whether it’s a gentle meow or a curious chirp, I’ve got plenty to say. Exploring my surroundings is another favorite pastime; there’s always something new to discover!

I promise that with a little patience, you’ll see just how affectionate and fun I can be. If you’re looking for a charming companion who loves to explore and share sweet moments, I’m your girl! Let’s create some wonderful memories together.

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
