My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fernando
Domestic Medium Hair, Born in September 2023, Orange Tabby, Neutered male

Meet Fernando: Your Playful Floofy Gremlin with a Heart of Gold!

Hey there! I’m Fernando, your future floofy friend! I started my journey as a stray at CACC, but now I’m ready to bring my happy little gremlin energy into a loving home. With my gorgeous orange tabby fur and playful spirit, I’m here to fill your days with laughter and joy!

I absolutely love to play and can make the silliest noises when I’m in action—trust me, you’ll want to see my antics! I have a unique talent for standing like a mercat, which is just one of my many charming quirks. While I’m active and full of fun, I might prefer to be the solo star of the show, soaking up all the love and attention for myself.

I’m friendly and have a special bond with the volunteers who take care of me. If you’re looking for a beautiful, playful companion with a personality as vibrant as my fur, I’m your guy! Let’s create some unforgettable memories together.

Are you ready to welcome me into your life? I can’t wait to meet you!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
