What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Zelda in 2019. She is now five years old and has been a great addition to our family. She joined our family when we were just two humans with one dog. We wanted our first dog to have a companion.
Zelda is very energetic and needs plenty of exercise every day. Over the years we have tried to keep up with her, but now we are a family of three humans. We have a new baby and can no longer give Zelda the amount of exercise she needs.
She plays well with our other dog, but she can be possessive over food and toys. She is very friendly towards humans and will be your best friend if you give her a ball.
She is very good at returning the ball after playing catch, and she knows basic commands like sit and stay. She also comes when her name is called.
She will bark when people come to the door. She would rather run than walk and she whines when she gets excited.
If you are looking for a running or hiking companion, or if you enjoy playing fetch Zelda is the dog for you.
