Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you’re a fellow turophile (CHEESE LOVER!!), then of course you know that chèvre is the name for goat’s milk cheese. While there are not many things in life better than a scrumptious cheese, our Chevre is also pretty hard to beat!
Chevre had the opportunity to spend time with a couple different community members and they both had wonderful things to share!
On one outing she went for a car ride, received lots of love, took a good nap, and explored Tucson! Her new friend shared, “Chevre was shy at first, but a sweetie once she was comfortable. She benefits from encouragement and reassurance. She is a cuddle bug! The black on her nose reminds us of a heart. She was sociable and fun and liked to ride in the car, leash trained and housebroken during the day, she liked to be outdoors and loves to run, but was also a mellow and laid-back couch potato!`
Chevre also went on a Pawjama Party where she was reported to be housebroken, friendly, sweet, cuddly and quiet. She slept in a dog bed overnight, enjoyed going for walks and LOVED playing with squeaky toys!
She also has quite the fan club in the shelter, with one volunteer sharing, “I took Chevre and her kennelmate out to a play yard. This sweet, gentle girl was dirty and allowed me to clean her entire body with wipes, even though this was our first time meeting! After getting her sponge bath she just wanted to snuggle! She would jump up in my chair and sit next to me, gently kissing my face. Wow, this girl is perfect!”
If I had to choose between having cheese in my belly or Chevre by my side every day, it’s a no-brainer- Chevre 100%!! Come meet this sweet pup today!
