My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Artie. I am adjusting well to the domestic horse life here at the rescue!

Artie is a 14.1hh, curious and playful gelding that was rescued from the Stroud Oklahoma Auction. He is extremely eye-catching, and boasts a beautiful mane and tail. Artie has taken to positive reinforcement-based training well, and will definitely make a fun and loving horse for his future owner. Artie loves treats and being pet on his shoulder, neck, and face. He happily will follow you around his paddock, and he puts his head in a halter during training. We are still working on leading and giving to pressure. Artie would currently be best suited for an experienced adopter who can continue his training.
