Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Destiny, a canine companion whose name reflects her potential to change your life. Destiny's personality is a beautiful blend of sweet, friendly, gentle, mellow and shy. She's the kind of dog who'll join you on quiet walks, keep you company during cozy afternoons, and greet you with a wagging tail at the end of a long day. Her intelligence shines through her curiosity and her bravery is reflected in her gentle demeanor. Despite her shyness, Destiny is a loyal friend who will stay by your side through thick and thin. Her mellow nature makes her the perfect companion for those seeking a calm and peaceful pet. Adopting Destiny means bringing home a loving, loyal, and intelligent friend who will enrich your life with her gentle spirit and brave heart. She has been a little picky about her dog friends so far, but she is still getting to know her new surroundings, so a meet and greet with another potential dog in the home is a must. She is around 2-3 years old. We have not cat tested her yet. She has not met any kids while in our care. Give us a call if you would like to meet her.

Here at the Red Desert Humane Society we strive to place pets in the best homes possible. We ask that you fill out an adoption application prior to meeting our animals. One can be emailed to you.
Once we receive your application we will review your application. During this process we will make calls to Landlords (if applicable). As well as your veterinarian that has provided care for your past or present pets.
We ask that you provide photos of your current residence where the dog will be living.
Once this is complete we ask that your bring your current animals (if any) to the shelter to meet your potential new pet as to prevent any possible problems once you get home.
If all of this goes well and you are approved we will then have you sign our adoption contract as well as pay the adoption fee.
Please call for our adoption fees or any other information.

More about this shelter
The Red Desert Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the placement of previously homeless animals in new, loving environments.
We alter and vaccinate all animals prior to placement, and screen all applicants to ensure a lifelong match between people and pets. We also educate the community about the importance of spaying and neutering pets, proper pet care, and animal welfare. We place dogs and cats in loving, forever homes!
