Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Suki is a special pup, athletic and brave, curious and dignified, funny and independent, but most of all, affectionate and loving. She's a well-rounded dog with a ton of personality. Suki is great with kids and adults and is very playful and smart. She's an all-around good girl and is very friendly to people and other dogs, just not sure about cats. She's a perfect companion for anyone who's looking for a fun and adventurous partner in crime.
She can be a bit of a diva, but she's worth it. Plus, she's house-trained and knows basic commands. Unfortunately, Suki has had a rough start to life and is in need of some extra TLC. She is currently attending "board and train" to learn some manners and skills, but she's a fast learner and will be ready to go to her forever home by the mid November. If you think you could be Suki's special someone, we would love to set up a meet and greet!

Their adoption process
1.
Interview
We find out what the adopter is looking for in a pet and learn more about their household such as other pets, family members, lifestyle.
2.
Meet the Pet
We then show photos and descriptions of the pets to potential adopters and arrange a meet and greet.
3.
Submit Application
4.
Approve Application
5.
Home Check
In this home check we collect the adoption fee and bring the pet to them also finalizing the transaction. We then switch chip info to adopt
Additional adoption info
We generally stay as guardian on the microchip info and change the primary contact to the adopter. They then have their own log in to keep things current, but we are there as a backup always.

More about this rescue
We are a new, small scale rescue. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and are only volunteers. We began to see the huge numbers of dogs being abandoned and euthanized after our own husky was stolen during a break in to our home. We had to get more involved as it was a lifelong dream to be able to rescue animals. We have self funded the organization since the beginning, but really need donations as we have taken in some medical needs dogs that were due to be put down for manageable / treatable conditions. Our goal is to be able to match adopters with emotional support dogs, therapy dogs, or trainable service dogs, or just to complete a family by adding a furbaby. We ensure our dogs are UTD on shots, spay/neutered, chipped and trained in basic obedience. This ensures a greater chance of finding that forever home!
