Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Stella turns ONE on December 6 and my dream is that she has a furever family by then! Stella was born from working LGDs and spent the first 6 months of her life in a barn with zero training or supervision. The farmer decided she was a "failed LGD" and was going to put her down so I took her.
She was the most affectionate, calm, beautiful pup I'd ever seen despite obviously carrying trauma from her upbringing (lack thereof).
She had never been inside before but she learned quickly and is 98% house trained. She sleeps in a kennel but doesn't go in during the day (She'll lay in it but hates when you close the door and will panic piddle). We're also struggling with the concept of "holding it." We take her out every 3-4 hours just to be safe.
I was sorely tempted to keep her, but I really think she wants a big, fenced in yard to spend more time outdoors and I think she'd really love having kids to watch and play with.
