Meet Venus, a sweet and gentle 3-year-old lady who`s looking for a caring home. From our volunteer observations, Venus seems to be a bit shy at first but warms up nicely once she feels comfortable. This medium-sized gal has a dainty and gentle play style, often preferring calm interactions with other dogs. Venus usually walks well on a leash and, while initially timid, her wagging tail shows her friendly nature. With patience and love, Venus could blossom into a wonderful companion for a understanding family.
Venus is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals. Venus has been in shelter for over 30 days and would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner.
