My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little fellow is a spitfire! He`s very energetic and would do best in a very active home that could put his high drive personality to work. This could include dog sports, agility, running and other outdoor activities. His ideal home would be adult only with a fully fenced yard with extra space for him to have the zoomies. He will need to work on puppy mouthing and impulse control. It is recommended that he receives both private training and group classes with adoption to help set him up for success.

Adoptable pets are now available through Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS)

Go meet their pets

Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
