Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Idaho! Idaho is an older adult female cat who came to us from a hoarding situation with more than 46 cats. Idaho is a sweet girl who enjoys lazing in the sunshine on her cat tree. She does have a bit of a heart murmur, we assume is congenital, but is doing well besides that and has no cardiac symptoms. She also had a huge ovarian cyst (the size of a walnut!) that was removed during her spay. The poor girl must've been hurting so bad before that was taken care of. Her fur is finally growing back from all of her flea related hair loss and she is looking and feeling great. Her adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and negative felv/fiv test. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov for information, or stop by during our open business hours to meet her!

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.
Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
