My name is Sorrell!

After dedicating herself to caring for her nine puppies, sweet Sorrell is ready to embrace a life of love and companionship. This remarkable girl has transitioned beautifully from the streets to a loving foster home, and she’s now searching for her forever family!  Sorrell exudes calm and endearing energy that instantly puts you at ease. She adores attention and will happily sit quietly by your side, soaking up the affection. Her affectionate nature will quickly steal your heart! Sorrell’s foster mom describes her as a dream, as she peacefully sleeps on the bed at night, content and relaxed.  Despite her time on th streets, Sorrell has impressive house manners and has not had a single accident in the home. She’s well-behaved and doesn’t get into mischief, making her the perfect addition to any household.  While Sorrell was initially shy upon arriving in her foster home, she has quickly learned that she is safe and loved. She may still be a bit timid in new situations, but it only takes a few seconds for her to greet you with a wagging tail and invitation to pet her. Sorrell did suffer an injury to her eye while living on the streets, which has been treated. She also tested positive for heartworm but has successfully completed her treatment. She just needs to be on monthly heartworm preventatives moving forward.  We are looking for a home that appreciates the calm steadiness of a well-behaved adult dog.
