This helps Circle 2 Rescue - Montana Chapter with pet care costs.
Applicants often say, "I'm not particular about the breed, it's the temperament that is important". Well, if this is true for you then take a look at Sorrel. This girl is an absolute delight to her foster family and we are looking for a family who adores her as much as we do. If only you could know her like we do. You too would be fiercely protective of her well being and not settle for anyone who doesn't think she hung the moon. You see, she is from the streets and found a way to survive with her 9 puppies until we rescued her. She lived with an abscessed eye and an injured leg until we saved her. And still Sorrel is happy, and loving and great with people and dogs. She is so much better than anyone could expect her to be. I find it astonishing that she is so well behaved that she accompanies her foster mom to the brewery. She's an inspiration to me when I think I've had a bad day. She's overcome so much and still such a beautiful soul.
This remarkable girl has transitioned beautifully from life on the streets to a loving foster home and is such an inspiration! Sorrell has a calm and endearing energy that instantly draws you to her sweet demeanor . She adores attention and will happily sit quietly by your side, soaking up the affection. Sorrell’s foster mom describes her as a dream and one of the easiest and most ameniable dogs she has fostered. She has absolutely blossomed and you would never know she lived on the streets. We feel like she must have been someone's beloved companion at some point. Despite her time on the streets, Sorrell has impressive house manners and has not had a single accident in the home. She’s well-behaved and doesn’t get into mischief, making her the perfect addition to any household. While Sorrell was initially shy upon arriving in her foster home, she has quickly learned that she is safe and loved and you can observe he happy, easy-going nature in the videos with her foster dog brother.
For Sorrel to be such a happy and easy dog is all the more remarkable given all she has been through While living on the streets of Houston, Sorrel gave birth to 9 puppies and was a utterly devoted mom. Sorrell suffered an injury to her eye while living on the streets, which was removed on August 21, 2024. She also tested positive for heartworm and completed her treatment on September 10th. (She must be on monthly heartworm preventatives going forward.) Finally, on October 24, 2024, Sorrel had surgery to repair a knee injury. She is already walking wonderfully and her happy, loving attitude is a marvel! Sorrell is such a special dog and we want her know nothing but joy and comfort after having such a challenging start in life. **
