Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Florida is a young adult female kitty who came to us from a hoarding situation of over 46 cats! She is a friendly girl but can be shy with new people at first. The way to her heart is through food, and she loves her treats and wet food. She gets along with other cats here at our facility and uses the litterbox like a good kitty. Her adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and felv/fiv test. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov for more information or stop by during our open business hours to adopt.

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.
Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
