Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Lug Nut, a delightful pooch with a heart as big as his personality! He's definitely an introvert who picks his people, but once he warms up, you'll find him playful and friendly. In his previous home, Lug Nut did great with kids and other dogs, but we don't know much about his history with cats.
Lug Nut had his share of challenges, so he needs to learn to be more at ease in new situations, less protective with people and food, and most importantly, to build a bond of trust with his new human. He lost his left eye to an injury, but he's ready to share the world with you through his unique perspective. Lug Nut has a team of people cheering him on to his next adventure. Are you ready to explore the world with this big lug of a dog?

Each adoption consists of an interview, application, counseling session, and adoption contract. All adoptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, but most adoptions are first-come, first-served, and holds cannot be placed in advance for someone to meet with an animal. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Please see http://www.nevadahumanesociety.org/ for more information including all currently available animals, adoption prices, resources, and events.
