For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Meet Pete, an adorable 3-year-old male pug with a sweet, social personality who’s ready to find a loving home. This little guy was found running around near a Halloween store but came right up to his rescuer, eager for attention and care. Though Pete's background is a bit of a mystery, he’s been a friendly companion to his foster family, particularly with kids—including a 9-year-old with autism—and has a gentle and loving demeanor.
Pete tends to do best with female dogs and may not always get along with other male dogs, but he’s adjusted well in his foster home, where he’s been living harmoniously. He’s potty trained, loves to snuggle, and enjoys sleeping in his foster brother’s room, making him a well-behaved and loving companion.
Pete may have some medical concerns, including potential eye issues and occasional muscle spasms, but despite these challenges, he’s a resilient little pug who’s eager for a family that will provide him with the care and love he deserves.
If you’re looking for a sweet and affectionate dog who is ready to become part of your family, Pete could be the perfect match! 🐾
