My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buddy, a lively adult dog who`s always up for an adventure. His energy is infectious, making every day feel like a new journey. He`s friendly too, greeting everyone he meets with a wagging tail and a cheerful spirit. Despite his sociable nature, Buddy also has an independent streak. He`s perfectly content exploring on his own or finding a quiet corner for a nap. He`s a wonderful mix of playful energy and self-reliance, a combination that makes him truly unique. Adopting Buddy means gaining a loyal friend who will bring joy, companionship, and a touch of excitement to your everyday life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
