My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Marissa!

Marissa is an 8-month-old female, medium-sized golden Shepard mixed breed with short/medium hair. 45lbs. Marissa is simply the best. A real dream dog for almost anyone.

Marissa would be the perfect dog for a family who has children that they want to raise alongside a canine best bud or anyone who wants a best friend and ultimate companion (and likes dog kisses).

Marissa is sweeter than pie, gentle, loving and affectionate, silly and jolly, playful and always has a big smile and kisses for you. She does great in public spaces - parks, restaurants and breweries.

Marissa can hang on her own but definitely prefers company with her human or other dogs. She is a big fan of playtime. She is by no means high energy, but has enough energy to go on a hike if that is what her family is doing!

Marissa walks great on a leash and listens to her handlers incredibly well. She is naturally an obedient dog. She’s also fantastic with her inside the home manners.

Spayed. Microchipped. UTD vaccines. Leash, kennel and potty trained. Marissa is still a puppy so a training class is required. If you’re interested in meeting Marissa, please fill out a statement if interest for her at: https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest/.
