My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing lil Miss Amber!

Amber was found alone on the streets, not only in great danger but in a very weak condition.  She was hungry, dehydrated and infested with ticks and fleas.  We don't have any idea how long she'd been on her own, or whether her condition was from the result of neglect -- but one thing we do know, is this beautiful sweet puppy needs a home desperately.  Her life was saved for a reason and we think that reason is the blessings and joy she will bring to her forever family.

She's been brought up to date on her vaccinations, she's been spayed and the Vet confirmed that she had a previously fractured leg that has healed very well in spite of likely not receiving any Vet care for it!  She's been given the very best chance at a future now, and all there is to do is match her with a loving family.

She's quite small for her breed mix -- weighing barely 30 lbs at 8 mos old and is not expected to become much larger than that.  She's busy preparing for her people by learning all the things that puppies need to know!  House training, walking on a leash, and just general good manners.  All this work being done by rescuers who show her love and dedication!  Surely even this young girl's heart is full of gratitude and she just wants a chance to invest her puppy love into her very own people.  We haven't had the opportunity yet to see how she reacts to cats or kids, but she's a gentle, young girl so we do not anticipate there'd be issues.

She's a brilliant pup who is calm and sweet.  Amber absolutely adores any toy she is offered.  She listens intently when spoken too, as if she's understanding every single word!  She  seems unaffected by the struggles and neglect of her past.  She doesn't want to blame, she would rather forget and move on with her life with a loving family/person.

VETTING:

  • Neutered/Spayed

  • Dewormed
