A22214 Gary is a black and white colored, approximately 7-year-old, 9-pound, neutered male, Domestic Short-Haired Cat.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 09-24-2024 due to the fact she could not stop him from peeing on her husband's side of the bed.
Gary is a friendly, social, easy to handle boy here at the shelter. Our staff describes him as a friendly boy who loves affection. He takes a minute to warm up to you, but then he is easily held and pet. He enjoyed exploring the playroom and meowed at us while checking it out. Not to interested in the toys, buy loved our affection. The previous owner says he is litterbox trained and has lived with dogs, cats and children. Gary will be a loving companion in his new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
