Hi ya everyone, I'm Brooks (the good lookin one of this Brooks & Dunn), a young 'un of about 2 years old, 55-pound fella. I come with a sweet, gentle, and easy-going personality. But I find myself dreaming my nights away just waiting for a home, a family...one that I can say is all mine!!!!
I'm a handsome boy that loves people both tall and small and I do great with the other foster pups although I would do best in a home without cats. I'm an active boy that is always up for an adventure. I am a friendly, affectionate, and playful pooch that also enjoys meeting new people and receiving lots of pets and affection so our walks will be a little longer as I want to stop and say hello to everyone!!
I really enjoy being outside whether it be to go for a walk, hike or just playing in the yard. I have an easy going playful personality that has me in the makings to be the bestest companion to just about any family!

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

(3) educate the public on proper horse care and husbandry
(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
