For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
LINUS – 7 month male. Linus was found by a kind lady who took him into her home. She searched for his owner, even had him scanned for a chip. After all efforts met a dead end, we were asked if we could help. Linus is such a sweet boy who will climb in your lap for snuggles. He is still on the thin side, but when he reaches his ideal weight could be a big boy. While Linus was waiting, he spent his time playing with the family rottweiler and chihuahua. Linus does know some basic commands, is crate trained and close to housebroken. If there are children in his new family, we recommend they are over the age of 5.
If you are interested in including LINUS in your home, please go to our website http://www.recycledrotts.org/wp/?page_id=150 for the rescue location (Recycled Rotts is located in the far west suburbs of Chicago IL), placement policies/fee, placement area and the link to our online application. NOTE: We make calls to prospective adopters from our personal phones and always leave a message. If you do not answer numbers you don’t recognize, please check your messages

Recycled Rotts was founded in the late 1980's and became a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization in 1997. The rescue dedicates itself to the placement (into responsible homes) and education of the breed known as Rottweiler. Our Rottweilers come from humane societies, animal controls and owner give-ups from Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Donations are always welcome and all donations go towards the care of our rotties. Donations made through our paypal account may be made through our website Donation page: http://www.recycledrotts.org/wp/?page_id=54
