Background: Bart was part of a litter of kittens. When he went for neuter, the vet detected a heart murmur and the vet recommended that he wait till he was 6 months old for neuter. This was in hopes that the heart would strenghten and the murmur might resolve. All of his brothers were altered and later adopted. He joined a small litter of young kittens Bunny and Joshua and took comfort in their companionship. The three were neuter in September and are now available for adoption at our Petco cat house. Bart still has a murmur and it would be recommended that he see a vet semi annually for monitoring (2x a year).

1.
Submit Application

Applications let us know about you, your home and what you are looking for in a pet. Take time to fill these out. This is our first glimpse.

2.
Interview

Your application looks good. We might still have some question. You might have questions too. Foster parent will reach out to you.

3.
Meet the Pet

Adoption is a family decision. We want to meet with everyone in the home including current dogs.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If everything works out at the meet and greet, the contract is signed. You agree to keep your dog safe, register their microchip. etc

5.
Take the Pet Home

Often times the pet can go home same day. If you are not ready, let us know we will give you a couple of days to get prepared.

A small foster based rescue located in Acworth, Georgia helping local dogs that need us the most.
