My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala (aka Laura) is a 1 year old female we saved with her entire litter in 2023.  She is a fun girl who got adopted to a family in Naples. Nala was recently spayed and currently her hormones are normalizing but in the meantime, she isn't a fan of her girlfriend dogs at the moment! We sometimes see this behavior change with spays and hopefully in a few months she gets back to being friendly to all dogs.  This is something we want to actively work on so the rescue is looking for a foster that will help us with Nala!  She has grown up around other dogs and kids (7-10 years old) so she knows what it means to have a family and how fun that can be.

Currently Nala is with us boarding temporarily in Tampa but she really needs a HOME. Currently the perfect home would have no female dogs or no dogs at all.  She has not been around cats so we prefer a catless home too!  She has been around kiddos but every home is different so we prefer homes with kids 12 or older.

More about this rescue

We are a breed specific dog rescue and direct our efforts on saving Dogo Argentino's across the United States. Our volunteers are dedicated to this breed and concerned about how many are ending up in rescue. We want to educate new owners of this breed and help lessen the amount we are seeing in the rescue network!
