My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This guy is such a loveable little Rascal! He’s young and still has a lot of puppy left in him still. He greets people with lots of excitement and is always ready to play. He has a higher energy level and packs in a lot of goofy and silly! He loves the noise that squeaky toys make, and he’s happy to chase after it when you throw it. Despite thoroughly investigating it once he reaches it, he won’t actually pick it up. He’s still figuring out how to play toys! Rascal loves his treats and will happily sit on command for one.

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.
