My name is Maxwell!

We adopted Maxwell from the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus back in July. When we adopted him, we were told he lived with other animals before. The previous owners realized he could not handle them moving and had to give him up. Maxwell has anxiety which he is medicated for (Gabapentin). He takes the meds two times a day. He gets overstimulated by play and petting but is not afraid to come ask for pets. He is very sweet when he is relaxed and medicated. He loves to lounge around and look out the window. He is still learning to play with his toys but has made big jumps in that aspect. We just want him to have someone that can take care of him with a nonchanging schedule, and that is experienced with cats with anxiety. We have had problems with him attacking us when he's anxious or overstimulated, but believe that someone with better experience, time, and patience can make him into a perfect boy.
