For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Humane Society of Greater Dayton with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the Spooky Squad-Vlad, Buffy, Bram, and Dmitri! This adorable litter of kittens is ready to find their forever homes, either together or separately. Vlad, the sleek black boy, is a mysterious little guy with a heart of gold, while Buffy, the sweet grey-and-white girl, has a curious and playful side. Bram, the dapper tuxedo, is always ready for an adventure, and Dmitri, the grey-and-white cutie, loves nothing more than a cozy cuddle after playtime. Though they can be a bit shy in new places, they warm up fast and will soon have you laughing with their playful antics and swooning over their adorable kitten naps. These kitties are ready to bring endless fun and love into your life!

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
